How to Access Your SA302 Tax Calculation and Tax Year Overview Online

1. Log in to your HMRC online account: Visit https://www.gov.uk/sa302-tax-calculation and sign in using your Government Gateway credentials.
2. Navigate to Self Assessment: Once logged in, select “Self Assessment” from the main menu.
3. Access Your SA302: Under “Previously filed returns,” click on “Get your SA302 tax calculation” for the desired tax year.
4. View and Download Your Calculation: On the next page, choose “Continue to your SA302” and then click “View your Calculation.” Finally, scroll down and select “View and print your calculation.” You’ll have the option to save the document as a PDF.

If you use an accountant, they will be able to provide the document to you. You may be unabel to follow these steps due to the systems accoutnants use to complete tax returns.

3. Choose Your Tax Year: Under “Self Assessment returns,” click on “View Self Assessment return” and choose the specific tax year you need from the dropdown menu.
4. Download Your Overview: Click “Go” and then scroll down to find “Print your tax year overview.” Select the option to save it as a PDF.
