It’s your documents that dictate if a lender will finally approve a mortgage application. We like to think we’re pretty good, but without your documents, we can’t really know how a mortgage application will go. It’s essential we check your documents before we apply, to be confident in the outcome.

These statements will need to show your income and general day to day expenditure so occasionally more than one account is required.
Savings account statement.
Gifted deposit letter from the donor. *your adviser will help you with this.
Digital copies of documents (such as PDF bank statements) and good quality scans are now commonly accepted by lenders.
If you don’t have access to a scanner, we recommend a smartphone app called ‘Camscanner’ which converts your phone into a virtual scanner and even converts the documents to PDF format for you.
It’s always advisable to have a firm understanding of your creditworthiness. We recomend obtainign a multi-agency credit report before speaking to and adviser.
Depending on your situation and lender used, you may need other documents and/or originals to be posted to us as well. You will be informed ASAP if any further documents are required.
